Explaining students’ works

To be able to participate in the exhibition, the student teams from SUSTech Innovative Workshop actively applied for the opportunity. After screening, five student projects were selected, which are, the first-person perspective shooting chariot developed by the Artinx Robot team, the ionic-liquid-based new-type carbon dioxide sensor developed by Class 2012 student Li Jiagen, the highly integrated real-time holographic imaging system of near field millimeter waves developed by Class 2013 student Tang Kailuan, the MINI-3D printer developed by Class 2015 student Lu Rui, and the remote-control intelligent clock developed by Class 2016 student Huang Wankuan.

The first-person perspective shooting chariot, which was designed and made for RoboMasters, is an omnidirectional moving robot carrying two cradle heads, with flexible maneuverability. The first-person perspective operation mode has also enlarged its moving range.

The ionic-liquid-based carbon dioxide sensor module is a low-energy carbon dioxide based on fluoride imidazole ionic gel that was designed and made using the property of ionic liquid that its conductivity changes as carbon dioxide concentration changes.
